  • Cranial sacral therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands- on treatment that focuses on the body’s connective tissue network (fascia) and the cranial sacral system. The cranial sacral system includes the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. CST practitioners use light touch to assess and release tension in this system, aiming to improve its function and restore balance within the body. CST practitioners assess and work with the craniosacral system, which includes the membranes and fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. Some people report experiencing a deep sense of relaxation and improved well-being, while others find it helpful for conditions like headaches, chronic pain, and stress.

  • Aquatic cranial therapy, also known as Cranial Sacral Therapy in Water (CST in Water), is a therapeutic approach that combines the principles of Cranial Sacral Therapy (CST) with the properties of water. It involves gentle, hands-on techniques to release restrictions in the cranial sacral system (the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord) while the recipient is supported in water. The therapist may guide gentle movements in the water, encouraging the body's natural rhythms and promoting self-healing. The water provides buoyancy and a sense of weightlessness, enhancing relaxation and allowing for deeper tissue release. The aquatic environment can enhance sensory awareness and proprioception (awareness of body position and movement). The warmth and support of the water are also often highly beneficial for people with restricted mobility or high levels of physical discomforts. This treatment allows you to experience the feeling of being both fully supported and completely free at the same time. Allowing your body complete freedom to move around and release a whole network of tension during a session. It is a powerful way to experience cranial sacral therapy and can be an important part of a treatment plan, for those comfortable in water.
